Panoramas Brief

I have been asked to design and create at least two cylindrical panoramas for web  distribution using a camera. This is to then be stitched and edited using Photoshop and displayed using HTML/CSS/jQuery code which will be given to us at a later date.

We have been told that we could use a theme to tie our panoramas together to give them more of a narrative, I think this is a good idea as it will give my work a guide line and more of a direction than if I were to just shoot different landscapes without purpose.

I have had a look at some examples from previous students and have realised how important it is to make sure that my image stays interesting all the way round and don't just have a single shot of a house while the rest is of empty space or a bush because this makes the idea of a 360 degree image pointless and boring.

My main worry with this project is that there is a very small time limit as our deadline is just 17 days away and I have struggled with tight deadlines in the past. However I am very much looking forward to learning more useful techniques in Photoshop as it is a software that I enjoy using, both in my work and in my free time.

Over the next few days I aim to have looked at other photographer and artists work for inspiration and technique ideas as well as coming up with a strong useful theme for my images which will lead me to be shooting my first photos in the early part of next week.
